New 10.3″ Bigme inkNoteX Color with Android 13 Now Available

Bigme inkNoteX Color

A new eNote with a 10.3-inch color E Ink screen called the Bigme inkNoteX Color is now available to order on Amazon, and it’s not cheap.

At $699, the inkNoteX Color is one of the most expensive eNotes on the current market, but it has some pretty high-end specs for an E Ink device, and it runs open Android 13 with support for installing third-party apps.

The inkNoteX Color has an octa-core 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and there’s even a memory card slot. It also has a fingerprint sensor, a wireless charging stylus, dual speakers, a microphone, there’s a USB-C port, it supports dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, and it has front (5MP) and rear (8MP) cameras.

When I saw “wireless charging” listed I thought that was a pretty cool feature, but apparently it’s only for the stylus. It uses a Wacom touchscreen so I don’t know why the stylus would need to be charged. I also don’t know why they keep putting cameras on these types of devices when most people seem to not want them.

The battery is listed as 4000mAh, and the overall size of the device is 225.6 x 191 x 6.6mm. The weight is not specified. It looks like it comes with a leather case as well.

Like other color eNotes, the inkNoteX Color features a Kaleido 3 screen from E Ink with 300 ppi for black and white content and 150 ppi for color. The device also has a frontlight with adjustable color temperature.

It’s hard to imagine there are very many people willing to spend $700 on a 10.3-inch eNote, especailly when you can get a Note Air3 C from Onyx with the same exact screen for $499, but enough people are buying these types of devices for Bigme to keep making them, and it’s more comparable to Onyx’s more expensive Tab Ultra line.

What do you think? Is the Bigme inkNoteX Color worth the high price?
