Kindle Kids Bundles On Sale for Prime Members

November 4, 2025 by Nathan Groezinger Leave a Comment

Kindle Paperwhite Kids

Amazon has started rolling out some early holiday sales on Kindles. All three Kindle Kids bundles are on sale for Prime members right now.

In fact, it’s cheaper to buy one of the kids bundles than it is to buy a regular Kindle on its own, so you’d have to be crazy to pay full price for a regular Kindle. Kids Kindles are exactly the same as regular Kindles; they just include a cover, an upgraded warranty, and a free trial to Amazon Kids+.

Here’s the list of deals:

  • Kindle Colorsoft Kids Bundle – $224.99 ($45 off)
  • Kindle Paperwhite Kids Bundle – $149.99 ($30 off) – Get an extra $20 off when buying 2
  • Kindle Kids Bundle – $109.99 ($20 off)

All these Kindles are eligible for a 20% trade-in discount on top of the sale prices so if you have an older Kindle to trade you can get an even better deal.

This is how Kindle sales usually go this time of year. First they start by discounting the Kindle bundle packages, then they’ll put refurbished Kindles on sale, and then the week leading up to Black Friday they’ll put all the regular Kindles on sale. They don’t usually require a Prime membership for these sales, so that’s something new, but it’s probably just a temporary thing.

If these deals are an early indication of what Amazon’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are going to look like, it’s going to be another disappointing year. All these Kids Kindle bundles were $15 cheaper a month ago during the Prime Big Deal Days, and a Prime membership wasn’t required for those deals. Now that everyone expects great deals this time of year, Amazon has started doing mediocre deals because they know people will still buy a bunch of stuff for the holidays regardless. Prime Days are now when Amazon has the best sales every year.
