Kobo Libra Colour Spring Sale – Get $20-$30 Off

March 20, 2026 by Nathan Groezinger Leave a Comment

Kobo Libra Colour Spring Sale

Kobo is currently running a “Spring Sale” on their most popular reading device, the Kobo Libra Colour. It’s $20-$30 off, depending on where you buy it from.

The Kobo Libra Colour is $30 off when purchased directly from Kobo’s website, taking the price down to $199.99 with free shipping.

The Kobo Libra Colour is $20 off when purchased on Amazon through Kobo’s US reseller, BlueProton. They also have some of the bundle packages on sale. They usually match Kobo’s sale prices so maybe they’ll drop the price by an extra $10 when they notice it’s supposed to be $30 off instead of the usual $20 off.

I’ve seen some people asking if they should hold off on buying Kobo’s current lineup of devices in case they release new models soon, but the odds of Kobo replacing them in the near future is pretty low. First off, there haven’t been any advancements with color E Ink since the Libra Colour was released.

Plus the previous gen Libra 2 was on the market for over 2.5 years before it got replaced by the Libra Colour, and the Libra Colour is still a couple months away from its 2 year birthday.

But with Kobo you never really know what they’re going to do. It’s entirely possible they could release new models later this year. The previous gen Clara 2E was only on the market for a little over a year and a half before it got replaced by the Clara BW, and it was barely an upgrade at all.

Nevertheless, being able to get a Libra Colour for $199 is a pretty good deal. Other 7″ color ereaders sell for quite a bit more than that (the 16GB Kindle Colorsoft is $249, although the upgraded Signature Edition is currently on sale for $206.99 in like-new condition). Plus the Kobo model supports writing with a stylus, unlike the Kindle Colorsoft. The Kobo Stylus is ridiculously expensive at $69.99, but you can get alternative styluses for much cheaper that work just as well.

Check out my Kobo Libra Colour review for a complete rundown of the specs and features, and to see how color E Ink compares to regular black and white E Ink.
