Amazon currently has 26 different combinations of Kindle bundles on sale, but they don’t have a single Kindle on sale by itself, not even the previous generation Kindle Scribe or like-new Kindles. I guess that kind of makes sense for a Valentine’s Day sale, but I don’t remember them doing something quite like this before.
One of the main deals is a 2-pack Kindle Paperwhite bundle for $270.99. That’s $48.99 less than buying them individually. They have a better 2-pack deal on the Kindle Colorsoft where you can get $75 off when buying 2 (they forgot to advertise this deal on the main sales page).
In some cases it’s cheaper to buy a bundle than it is to buy a Kindle by itself. For example, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition sells for $279.99 on its own, but you can get the Kindle Colorsoft SE clear case bundle for $276.98. There’s also this clear case bundle for the 16GB Colorsoft for $251.98. However, neither are shipping anytime soon so it’s kind of a pointless sale.
They have a bunch of bundle deals that come with the new Kindle Sling Bag that was just released a couple of months ago. It has a list price of $79.99 so that inflates the price of the bundles quite a bit. Most of the deals really aren’t that good, except for the clear case bundles, and those are all shipping several weeks out. This is a poorly-timed sale on Amazon’s part. Hopefully they’ll add some à la carte Kindle sales later in the week.
There are too many bundle deals to list individually so I would advise checking the main Kindle sales page at Amazon for the full list of deals. They did forget to include the 2-pack Colorsoft deal on the list for some reason so there might be some other unadvertised deals lurking.
