Barnes and Noble is currently running some different promotions to give customers a reason to continue supporting the Nook brand.
B&N often drops the prices of their Nook devices to increase sales, but this time around we’ve got some various content deals instead.
First up, Barnes and Noble is offering a magazine deal where they are giving away free back issues for 2014 on select titles with the purchase of a subscription. This offer includes over 200 popular magazine titles, and expires on January 6th.
B&N will also be getting into offering magazines through public libraries soon thanks to a partnership with OverDrive, so keep an eye open for that too.
Another deal, B&N is offering 50% off select New York Times Bestsellers through January 26th. There are 56 different titles to choose from, and Amazon is price-matching most of them if you have a Kindle.
Barnes and Noble is also offering up to 80% off the first book in a series for certain titles.
Lastly, B&N is giving out a $5 credit to new iOS users that setup a new Nook account using the free Nook app for iPad or iPhone. This only works with new accounts. The offer expires on January 4th.
