Going off topic here but as a person that was infuriated with the contrast of the new Paperwhite 3, I just realized there actually is a way to make the font bolder and darker.
I realized that all Kindle eReaders ship with the “Page Refresh” option with the ON position as a default. I verified this on 3 of my kindles. Well if you turn that option OFF so it doesn’t refresh on every page you will notice that upon reopening a book the font is thicker and darker and pretty much on par with my Voyage. Not sure if you knew this but it definitely helps and might want to let your readers know. Cheers..
