Pixelar is a UK-based company that sells digital photo frames, baby monitors, and other electronics such as ebook readers. They’ve been selling HanLin ereaders for awhile now, and have just recently added the Pixelar MReader to their shop.
The Pixelar MReader has a 6-inch E Ink display with 16 levels of gray and a resolution of 800 x 600. It measures 185mm x 122.5mm x 9.5mm and weighs 227 grams.
Running a Samsung S3C2440 400MHz processor, it comes with 64MB of internal memory and has a TF SD card slot for expansion up to 4GB. There’s a built-in headphone jack and 2.0 USB port.
The Pixelar MReader is open source ereader out of China that supports a wide variety of formats: Adobe PDF and EPUB, TXT, CHM, FB2, RTF, TCR, PDB, HTM, PRC, HTML, DJVU, IW44, IW4, DJV, JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, GIF, and MP3.
Other specs include: menu language support for English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, with more coming soon; the battery life is rated at 10000 page-turns; and there are 5 different font sizes.
The MReader is currently up for pre-order on the Pixelar website for £189. The expected release date is the end of July. It comes in Purple, Silver, and Black.

i must say that first impressions are a good build quality and easy to use menus.The thing that attracted me to this ereader was the large range of formats.
apparently it has a wifi unit which they are about to link to bookstores and newspapers with .
screen is good with minimal glare,unlike my sony i had.
