If you’ve been waiting for a deal on Kindle Unlimited, you might want to check the main Kindle Unlimited landing page at Amazon US to see if your account is eligible for any special offers.
I’m currently seeing a 2 months for $0.99 deal, but these types of deals tend to vary on an account by account basis, depending on different factors. If past results are any indication, you might get a better deal on 3 months, or maybe you won’t see any deal at all. But it does show that Amazon has started doing these types of deals again.
These KU deals are for new and some returning subscribers; if you have an active Kindle Unlimited subscription you won’t see this deal. Sometimes you can get these deals soon after a membership ends, but other times it might take a few months before your account is eligible again—nobody really knows the formula.
It’s been several months since I’ve seen any of these discounts on Kindle Unlimited. I thought maybe they’d do something for the Spring Sale, but that came and went and I never saw any KU deals.
If you take advantage of the deal, remember that Amazon will automatically start charging your account the regular fee of $11.99 per month once the offer period ends. But you can cancel Kindle Unlimited at anytime from the Manage Your Kindle Unlimited Membership page that’s accessible from your Amazon account.

It’s too bad that current subscribers aren’t “rewarded”.
