Readum: Annotate Google eBooks to Share on Facebook

There’s a new extension for Firefox and Chrome web browsers that allows you to highlight any paragraph in a Google eBook, add a note to it, and send it to Facebook to share with friends and family.

The extension is called Readum. It is from the folks working on ReadSocial, which connects people socially with digital content across multiple platforms.

Basically, Readum allows you to share and comment on ebooks while you are reading them. Once you select a paragraph in the book you’re reading, you can login to Facebook and post it to your Facebook wall, along with notes about it.

Readum is free and works with both paid and free ebooks. More information can be found on the Readum website. Here’s a short video demo:
