Norton and McAfee are the first programs I take off of my new computers…

Absolutely. Thought I was the only one. Tried to convince my cousin her problems were from Norton. She didn’t believe me. I said, oh well. My pc runs fine.

Our ISP gives out up to (3 or 5) free McAfee Internet Security licenses as part of their package deal. Tried them in two computers… slowed the hell out of them so I removed their software immediately. I just use Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials. Unless, you’re surfing through unsafe sites to begin with, the default should be good enough. Now why don’t they give us the option of not using McAfee and in turn getting a discount on our bill?
