Barnes and Noble’s latest Nook is on sale just in time for Mother’s Day.
The Nook Glowlight Plus usually sells for $199.99 from Barnes and Noble, but right now it’s marked down to $169.99 with free shipping. It’s available to purchase in retail stores as well.
The Glowlight Plus has a 7.8-inch E Ink screen with 300 ppi, and it has a frontlight with adjustable color temperature so you can use a warm color, a cool color, or a mix of the two.
The Glowlight Plus is also waterproof and it has page buttons on each side of the screen, something that’s not very common these days.
It has 8GB of storage space, Wi-Fi, and a headphone jack and Bluetooth for audio, although audio is limited to B&N podcasts only.
Like other Nooks, the Glowlight Plus supports ePub and PDF formats, including books with Adobe DRM.

I have had my GL Plus for quite a while now with zero problems. Very clear text and I like the warm light slightly reduced from max. Not a complaint, but the Plus does require frequent charging. I guess the big screen is the cause. Highly recommended at this sale price.
