It’s time for another round of Kindle sales. This time Amazon has the Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite on sale, both the Signature Edition and the regular version.
The Kindle Oasis is $50 off, the Kindle Paperwhite is $30 off, and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is $40 off.
This sale is more limited than usual. For example, only the 8GB version of the Kindle Oasis is on sale, not the 32GB version. And the regular Kindle and Kids Kindles are still full price.
But the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition has only been on sale a few times so it’s good to see it marked down. And the Kindle Oasis doesn’t go on sale very often either.
The base Kindle Paperwhite with ads is $109.99. That’s a surprisingly reasonable price for what you get compared to similar ereaders. It has a really nice 6.8-inch E Ink Carta 1200 screen with adjustable frontlight color, 8GB of storage, a USB-C port, battery life is very good, and it’s waterproof.
The Signature Edition has more storage space (32GB instead of 8GB), along with an auto-adjusting frontlight and wireless charging. The Signature Edition is also ad-free (no lockscreen advertisements).
