If you like listening to audiobooks, Audible has a couple of deals going on right now for new and possibly returning customers (there are a lot conflicting reports regarding these deals so your results might vary).
Over on Amazon, they’re advertising 3 Months of Audible for Free for the Audbile Premium Plus plan, but it says the deal is for new customers only.
However, some people with existing accounts are apparently getting the same deal over on the main Audible website. But others are seeing different deals, like 2 months for $0.99. It seems to vary by account but it’s worth checking out if you want to get some free/cheap audiobooks.
The way Audible’s free trials work is you get a credit each month that you can use to “purchase” any audiobook in their catalog, and you get to keep the audiobook even after you cancel the membership. Normally Prime members can get 2 free audiobooks the first month of a trial, but who knows if that applies to the extended 3 month offer or not.
In addition to the monthly credit, Audible Premium Plus subscribers also get unlimited access to a selection of podcasts, audiobooks, and Audible Originals, and Audible members also get access to exclusive sales and discounts.
After the free trial period ends, they’ll automatically start charging $14.95 per month for the Premium Plus plan, but you can cancel at anytime before or after the trial so there aren’t any obligations.
It looks like the 3 months for free offer ends on February 21st through Amazon so the deal is valid for another twelve days.
Some folks at Slickdeals are saying they see the 3 months for free offer but then only get one month during checkout so make sure to check the terms before purchasing, but even getting one free audiobook is better than none.

When I went to the Audible website, I did see the 3 Months Free offer but once I logged in, it said the promo code wasn’t available. I’m currently a non-member but I can’t remember when I last canceled. Maybe a few months ago (or heck, last month?). I’m sure that makes a difference. This is one thing that I miss about my commute, I used to listen to lots of audiobooks. I’ve worked from home for the last 6 + years.
