The Kindle Paperwhite kids bundle is currently on sale for $114.99. That’s the lowest price it’s been in a long time. It was on sale for $149.99 during Prime Day, and last month it was down to $134.99, so this deal is significantly better than those deals.
In these kind of situations people are always asking if they should wait until the next Prime sale starts to see if the price goes any lower. Well, it’s pretty much guaranteed the price isn’t going to suddenly go lower in a week and a half, but it is possible the regular Paperwhite will go on sale for less, especially if Amazon announces a new model soon.
The Paperwhite kids bundle is a better deal, though, since it comes with an upgraded 2-year warranty that covers accidental breakages, unlike the standard Kindle warranty, and it also includes a free cover. It’s the same exact Kindle otherwise, and there’s absolutely no reason to pay $35 more for the standard Paperwhite right now.
Amazon also has their official Kindle Paperwhite covers on sale again, and the prices are a bit lower than they were last month. Here’s the list of deals:
Kindle Paperwhite Fabric Covers – $19.99 ($15 off)
Kindle Paperwhite Leather Covers – $26.99 ($15 off)
Kindle Paperwhite Cork Covers – $31.99 ($18 off)
The Wireless Charging Dock for the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is on sale too. It’s marked down to $24.99 from $32.99, but you can get a used one in like new condition for only $6.35.
Amazon has a couple of early Prime Day deals on certified refurbished Kindles as well, but the deals really aren’t that good—I’d recommend holding off for something better. The Signature Edition Paperwhite is $134.99 and the Kindle Scribe starts at $233.99.
Also, in case you missed it, Amazon has a new promotion where Prime members can get 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for free. The deal ends on October 9th.

I can’t find any kindles for sale on Amazon in Canada. Really hoping there’s an announcement soon and that it’s not another disappointment.

Kindles are widely unavailable in lots of places. They must be losing sales like crazy. It looks like the timing of this new Kindle rollout was botched pretty bad. Get prepared for disappointment; new Kindles are usually a letdown because Amazon rarely changes much of anything.

It’s not on sale in Belgium or in Germany, both paperwhite and paperwhite kids are still priced at €170 here.
