Kindle Colorsoft $55 Off, 3x Kindle Points, and Other Deals

April 23, 2025 by Nathan Leave a Comment

3x Kindle Points

Amazon has been running a lot of sales and promotions this past month, and things aren’t slowing down yet.

They have the Kindle Colorsoft on sale for $224.99 again, which ties the lowest price ever from the previous sale. You can also get an additional 20% off with a trade-in to take the price down to $179.99.

They’re also doing another bonus points promotion where you can earn 3x Kindle Points from April 23 through April 25th, between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time. During that time you can triple Kindle Points earned when buying Kindle ebooks from Amazon, and once you hit 300 points you can cash them in for a $3 credit toward the purchase of your next ebook.

Some of Amazon’s other book deals are ongoing as well. The Audible audiobooks deal is still available too, where you can get 3 months (which includes 3 audiobooks, or 6 for Prime members) for $0.99. That offer ends on April 30th.

Some previous generation Kindles are still available at a discount from Woot as well. The 11th gen Paperwhite can be had for as low as $74.99, and you can get an extra $5 off with code FIREFIVE.

It’s interesting how the sales numbers for the Kindle Colorsoft more than doubled during the last sale, and what’s surprising is the numbers didn’t plummet again after the sale ended—the number of units sold remained steady (Kobo could learn something from that).

It’s also interesting to see Amazon doing another bonus points promo, especially considering how rarely they offer 3x Kindle Points, so I bet they really have noticed a dip in ebook sales after they took away D&T, as I speculated about during the last double points promo, and now they’re trying to find ways to make up for it. They’d get more business if they just brought back D&T, but that’s probably not going to happen.
