Amazon has started rolling out a bunch of early deals on various products, including Kindle ereaders and the Kindle Scribe. Some of the deals are Prime exclusive sales, but some of the deals don’t require a Prime membership at all.
Either way, it’s a good time to buy a Kindle at a discount. Most of the deals are for bundle packages. If you don’t want a bundle just wait until next week because Prime Big Deal Days starts on October 7th, and most Kindles will be on sale then, but don’t expect these current sale prices to go lower because that’s not how Amazon works.

Seems they realize the paperwhite alone would be in demand and they are not really supporting anything for it other than a bundle.
I currently have one from perhaps 2018/2019 IIRC with a nice antique book case, I had another one and traded tt in to get 20% off a second sctribe and wish I had just kept it.
