If you want to buy an ereader, now is the best time to do so while the sales are still going on through December 1st, aka Cyber Monday.
Cyber Monday is a total sham these days, at least when it comes to ereaders. All these companies just continue to offer the same exact deals leading up to Black Friday through Cyber Monday, so there isn’t any reason to wait for Cyber Monday deals anymore.
Now Cyber Monday is best known for marking the end of all the best deals for the season. There will likely be a few sales on ereaders in December, but if history is any indication, the discounts won’t be nearly as big as they are now. It’ll be several months before Kindles are priced this low again, so now is the time to get one before Amazon jacks the prices back up again.
You can see the full list of Kindle deals for Cyber Monday on this earlier post since the deals are exactly the same as Amazon’s Black Friday sales, but there so many bundle packages it can be confusing what to choose, so I cherry-picked what I think are the best deals below. I also picked the best deals on non-Kindle ereaders for those that want an alternative to Kindles.
Best Kindle Sales for Cyber Monday
Kindle – $79.99 ($30 off)
Kindle Paperwhite – $124.99 ($35 off)
Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition Clear Case Bundle – $156.98 ($80 off) – This is the best deal on the upgraded SE Paperwhite, especially if you don’t want to see ads every single time you turn your Kindle on.
Kindle Colorsoft 16GB – $169.99 ($80 off) – Lowest Price Ever
Kindle Colorsoft 16GB Clear Case Bundle – $171.98 ($115 off) – This is a better deal than the one above because you get a case for only $1.99 more, but this deal isn’t eligible for a 20% discount if you have an older Kindle to trade-in.
Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition Clear Case Bundle – $226.98 ($90 off) – The discounts on the SE Colorsoft aren’t as good, but if that’s the model you want this is the bundle to get because it’s actually $3 cheaper than buying the SE on its own right now.
Kindle Scribe 1 – $221.99 ($148 off) – A new deal added over the weekend for the original Kindle Scribe with a premium pen.
Kindle Scribe 32GB – $279.99 ($140 off) – Save an extra $40 when buying 2
Kindle Covers – Amazon has their official Kindle covers on sale again. The prices are only a few bucks off, but you can get better deals when choosing “like-new” covers for some of these. The plant-based leather cover for the Paperwhite and Colorsoft can be had for as low as $13.41 in like new condition. I got one a few weeks ago when they were only $5 and I really like the feel of it; I actually like it better than the premium leather cover.
