Last week Amazon rolled out some pretty weak Valentine’s Day sales on Kindles, with most of the bundles shipping after Valentine’s Day because they were out of the clear case covers as soon as the sale started.
Now Amazon has added some additional sales on Kindles and Kindle accessories to the list. In fact, it’s a really long list. There are currently 49 different Kindle products on sale counting the sales that started last week.
Once again there are a lot of lukewarm deals so I’ll highlight some of the better ones. None of the standard, regular Kindles are on sale; it’s all bundles and accessories and like-new Kindles.
The best deals are the like-new Kindle Paperwhite for $114.99 and the like-new Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition for $143.33. The like-new Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is a pretty good deal too at $219.99.
The previous gen Kindle Scribe is on sale in like-new condition as well. The 32GB version is marked down to $260.99, but the 64GB model is probably the best deal at $278.99. The 16GB version is $251.99.
Unfortunately none of the new Kindle Scribes are on sale in any way, nor are their overpriced covers. At some point Amazon is going to have to cave and put them on sale. I remember when they released the last Kindle Scribe and they put it on sale exactly one month after it was released. I guess they’re playing the slow game with these new ones.
The fabric, leather, and premium leather covers for the Kindle Paperwhite and Colorsoft are all a few bucks off. The fabric covers for the basic Kindle are on sale too.
