Science Fiction: GU: Justice Net by David Archer, Abraham Falls
Science Fiction, 4.5 stars, 82 reviews
In the near future, many of the problems that plague society today are considered things of the past. Gun violence is almost nonexistent, quality health care is available to everyone, food is abundant and accessible, and crime is all but unheard of. These problems were solved by the creation of the Global Union, a worldwide government that treats everyone as equals. Crime was lessened by one of the GU’s most innovative new programs, known as Justice Net. Rather than languishing in prison cells, convicted criminals are sentenced to fight to the death on live TV. The more serious the crime, the more fights they must survive in order to be released. It’s an incredibly successful program, since the vast majority of those convicted are unlikely to survive even their very first fight, while the public and the government make fortunes by betting on the outcomes…

Faery Swap – Middle Grade Fantasy by Susan Kaye Quinn
Fantasy, 4.5 stars, 34 reviews
Warrior faery princes can be very stubborn. Especially when they possess your body. Fourteen-year-old Finn just wants to keep his little sister out of Child Protective Services—an epic challenge with their parentally-missing-in-action dad moving them to England, near the famous Stonehenge rocks. Warrior faery Prince Zaneyr just wants to escape his father’s reckless plan to repair the Rift—a catastrophe that ripped the faery realm from Earth 4,000 years ago and set it adrift in an alternate, timeless dimension. When Zaneyr tricks Finn into swapping places, Finn becomes bodiless soul stuck in the Otherworld, fighting spriggans with sharp teeth and rival faery Houses. Back on Earth, Zaneyr uses Finn’s body to fight off his father’s seekers and keep the king’s greatest weapon—himself—out of his hands. Between them, they have two souls and only one body… and both worlds to save before the dimensional window between them slams shut.

Also keep in mind that the free deals are not always for all countries. I occasionally see deal alerts that are not up in Denmark.
So always crosscheck the price before clicking 🙂

FYI, The Samsung 128 micro SD cards (old and new version) were on sale at 29.88 and 24.88 two weeks ago at Amazon.
In other words, 34.99 maybe is a good price, but it is not the best price.

Unless you can build a time machine for $5 the point is moot. 😀 Fire tablets were cheaper a couple weeks ago too.
