Amazon has put some of their previous gen Kindles on sale ahead of Prime Big Deal Days, along with the Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. Somehow the Kinde Scribe without a frontlight still isn’t on sale, and it hasn’t gone on sale once since it was released, despite the fact nobody is buying it.
Most of theses sales don’t seem to require a Prime membership, except the previous gen Kindle Scribe, and it’s not even that great of a deal considering it’s refurbished.
In case it isn’t obvious, the new Kindles for 2026 aren’t going to go on sale anytime soon. The new Paperwhite and Colorsoft aren’t even getting released until the end of October, so who knows if they’ll even go on sale for Black Friday since everyone that pre-orders could just return the one they bought and get one on sale—that’s a pretty big deterrent for Amazon to put them on sale so soon after release.
Below is a list of all the individual Kindles that are currently on sale; check this earlier post for Kindle bundles that are on sale.
