Kobo has a couple of their ebook readers on sale at Kobo.com and at Chapters.Indigo.
I already mentioned the Kobo Aura Edition 2 being on sale for $99 in a previous post, but it turns out they’ve got the Kobo Aura H2O on sale as well.
It’s marked down to $159 at Kobo. I don’t recall them ever offering it for that cheap before.
It’s also on sale at Chapters.Indigo but the price is in Canadian dollars so they have it at $179.
Even with the $20 difference and having to pay for shipping it’s still a little cheaper to get it from Chapters but it probably works out about the same if your credit card charges a foreign currency transaction fee, which most do.
One interesting detail at Kobo is it says that you can add express shipping for $15. That’s new because they never used to offer anything but regular shipping.
The Kobo Aura H2O is a 6.8-inch ebook reader and it’s waterproof. It has the advantage of having a microSD card slot, unlike the newer Kobo models like the Kobo Aura One.
Speaking of the Aura One, Chapters.Indigo has been one of the only places that has any in stock but now they show only 1 is left so it looks like they are about to run out too.
