If you like epic fantasy novels, Robert Jordan’s The Eye of the World is the start to one of the most epic fantasy series ever written, and for the next two days the ebook is free over at Tor.com.
After a seven month hiatus, Tor has brought back their ebook club where they give away a free ebook each month. All you have to do is signup for their monthly newsletter to access the free ebook. They say the offer is only available in the US and Canada but I don’t see how they can tell.
Like usual, Tor’s ebooks are DRM-free and can be downloaded in both ePub and Mobi formats.
If you have a Kindle you can use email or a send to Kindle app to wirelessly send the Mobi to your device or app.
The Eye of the World is the first book in the fourteen book Wheel of Time series, which is also currently being developed for TV, like most popular epic fantasies these days, it seems.
The free offer expires at midnight (eastern time) on February 15th, so get it while it’s still free. The ebook is $8.99 over at Amazon, and it has a 4.5 star rating with 3169 reviews.
