Fire HD 10 $99 Today Only, Plus a Few Other Deals

April 26, 2018 by Nathan

Fire HD 10 Sale

Amazon has their Fire HD 10 tablet on sale again. This time it’s back to its Black Friday price of only $99, and the deal isn’t restricted to Amazon Prime members like the last sale.

That’s the lowest price that Amazon has sold the Fire HD 10 for, $10 lower than the previous sale that was for Prime members only. The regular price is $149.

It’s a 1-day only sale for April 26th.

Despite the somewhat cheap build quality, $99 is a really good price for a 10″ tablet with a full HD screen. The high resolution display makes it nice for all kinds of ereading.

While we’re on the topic of deals, here are a few other sales from around the web:

Deals List

Fire HD 10 tablet – $99 – April 26th only

Three months of Kindle Unlimited for $1.99 – Prime members only – Ends May 6th

Up to 80% off Kindle Books – Ends April 30th

Sony DPT-RP1 with Slim Cover – $699 ($58 off)

Apple iPad 32GB (2017 model) – $229 ($100 off)

Kobo Aura Edition 2 – $99 ($20 off) – Also $99 CAD from Chapters.Indigo

Refurbished Tablets at Woot – Various iPads and Android tablets are cheap at Woot.

Even at $150 the Fire HD 10 is the best tablet for the price (Lenovo sell the 1280 X 800 Tab 4 10.1 at a smililar price. To be fair, you get a longer battery life, better cameras and build quality with the Tab 4). A tablet should have a good screen and Amazon didn’t cheap out with the screen – it is a laminated screen with good contrast.

I ordered one. I’m still happy with my HDX7 but I’m hoping the bigger screen will offset some of the HD10’s limitations…

Compared to the HDX the casing feels cheap but the screen is quite nice and with Google Play installed it’s a great tablet for the price. Like Basem said, even at $150 it’s a better value than other brands. I don’t know why these high-res screens aren’t more common on 10-inch tablets.
