11th Gen Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition $109 (Refurbs)

December 23, 2024 by Nathan Groezinger Leave a Comment

Kindle Sale Woot

If you’re looking to score a good deal on a Kindle, Woot currently has the previous generation Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition available for $109.99. That’s $80 less than what it sold for new.

It’s listed as “Amazon Refurbished”. Shipping is free for Prime members. Otherwise shipping is like $6. New Woot customers can also get an extra $10 off by using code FIRETENOFF at checkout.

It’s been a long time since I posted about any Woot deals. The problem with Woot is they’ll advertise these Kindle deals and then they’ll be sold out in about 5 minutes because they didn’t have very many to sell to begin with.

They’re already sold out of the base model, which was only $69.99 for the 8GB model. The SE will probably be sold out by the time this post goes live, but in case it doesn’t the deal is supposed to last until the end of the month.

Woot also has some Fire tablets on sale as part of this same deal. The previous gen Fire HD 10 is only $49.99, and some of the older models are only $22-$30.

Amazon is currently selling these same refurbished 11th gen Signature Edition Paperwhites for $169.99 on their website so obviously the Woot deal is the way to go. The page at Woot says it has ads but they don’t know what they’re talking about like usual. The SE model never came with screensaver ads; it’s just a generalized description they use for all Kindle models.

Personally, I’d rather pay more for the new 12th gen Kindle Paperwhite because of the better screen, but otherwise there really isn’t much difference between the 11th and 12th gen Paperwhites, except for the fact the new one doesn’t support download and transfer, and it also uses MTP now instead of USB mass protocol when connecting to a computer via USB to transfer files.
