If you’re looking to buy a new ereader or eNote, several PocketBook devices are currently on sale from their official Amazon store.
I was surprised to see the PocketBook InkPad One on sale already considering it was just released in March. The sale price is $335, which is $24 off the regular price. That’s a really good price for an eNote with a 10.3″ E Ink Mobius screen, and it comes with a stylus. Mobius screens are supposed to be more durable than standard E Ink screens, and only a few devices use them.
The PocketBook InkPad Eo is on sale too at $499, which is $80 off the regular price. It has a 10.3″ color E Ink screen (Kaleido 3), and it’s one of PocketBook’s Android-based models, but it uses an older version of Android (11) since it was released in 2024.
If you’re looking for something basic and cheap, the PocketBook Basic Lux 4 is marked down to $110, and the PocketBook Verse Lite is $115. There’s not much of a difference between them, except the former has page buttons and the latter is a newer model with a newer design.
The PocketBook Verse is on sale too for $129. It’s not much different from the models listed above, but the build quality is a bit nicer, and it uses the newer design with the buttons closer to the bottom edge. If you want something with a 300ppi screen, the PocketBook Verse Pro is $20 off at $169. It’s waterproof and it adds support for audiobooks and text-to-speech, but unlike the other models listed above, it lacks a microSD card slot.
If you’d prefer to get a color ereader, the PocketBook Verse Pro Color is on sale for $172. It has a 6″ color E Ink screen. There’s also the PocketBook Era Color with a 7″ color screen for $245. The regular PocketBook Era with a black and white screen is on sale for $225.
One of PocketBook’s more unique models is the InkPad 4 with its 7.8″ E Ink screen. That used to be a fairly common size, but now very few ereaders are available in that size so it makes it kind of unique. The InkPad 4 is marked down to $269, which is $30 off the regular price.
