Right now they’ve got the Nook Glowlight 3 marked down to $95.99 with free shipping. That’s 20% off the regular price of $119.99.
The Nook Glowlight 3 is B&N’s latest 6-inch Nook; it was released in November 2017.
It has a 300 ppi E Ink screen with adjustable frontlight color, and it’s one of the few ebook readers still available with an infrared touchscreen, which helps make the text appear sharper, darker, and clearer than devices with capacitive touchscreens.
It’s not waterproof like the larger 7.8-inch Glowlight Plus, and it doesn’t support audio, but the two are very similar otherwise.
The Glowlight 3 is notorious for having issues with sideloaded ebooks, but some people manage to get it to work well enough to be usable—the key seems to be loading just a small number of books to the device at one time, not deleting them, waiting extra time to eject the Nook from the computer, and not using shelves with sideloaded books.
