Amazon has rolled out some early Prime Day deals on bundle packages for Kindle ereaders, and Amazon’s 5W OEM wall charger is half price at $9.99 so it’s reasonably-priced for a change.
The deals on the Kindle Scribe are better than expected, and it looks like the price is going to be quite a bit lower than my Prime Day prediction. So far the lowest the Scribe has sold for is $282.99, and right now the essentials bundle is only a couple of bucks more than that so the Scribe should be considerably less by itself on Prime Day.
Most of the early deals are for the Essentials Bundles for the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, the Kindle Oasis and the Kindle Scribe. The bundle packages all come with a charger and a cover; if you don’t care about those things then you’d be better off waiting for the main Prime Day deals next week.

I’m not going to list every possible variation of the bundle deals because there’s like 50 of them, but I’ll link to each individual page, and you can check the other variations at Amazon.

Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle with Leather Cover – Starts at $300.97 for the 16GB version with the basic pen and the leather cover. That’s $139 off the list price and the 64GB version with the premium pen is $154 off at $365.97.
Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle with Brush Print Leather Cover – Starts at $300.97 for the 16GB version with the basic pen and the brush priint leather cover (that’s the one I have and it’s really nice). That’s $149 off the list price and the 64GB version with the premium pen is $164 off.
Kindle Oasis Essentials Bundle – Starts at $180.97 for the 8GB version with the fabric cover. That’s $129 off the list price. The 32GB version is $200.97 with the fabric cover. Bundles with the leather covers are available as well, starting at $204.97.
