It’s been a long time since Kobo last had their ereaders on sale in the US, but right now you can get $20 off of the Kobo Libra Colour and $50 off of the Kobo Elipsa 2E.
Kobo is also taking 20% off on accessories for the Kobo Libra Colour, which includes their official covers and the Kobo Stylus 2. Unfortunately the smaller Clara models aren’t on sale this time, and neither are their accessories.
Some of the deals are only available from Kobo’s website. They launched an Amazon store a few months ago, but none of their products are on sale there, and most are out of stock anyway, but maybe the deals will show up later.
However, Kobo’s official US reseller, BlueProton, has the Kobo Libra Colour on sale on Amazon for $209, and the Kobo Elipsa 2E is $349, which is the same price as Kobo. Both the black and white versions of the Kobo Libra are on sale.
BlueProton has the Kobo Stylus 2 on sale as well, but it’s only 10% off instead 20% off.
Even on sale, Kobo’s stylus is pretty expensive at $55.99. You can find compatible MPP styluses on Amazon for half that price.
Whenever Kobo runs a sale they mark down the 10.3″ Kobo Elipsa 2E to $349. That’s $50 off the regular price. It comes with a stylus, but not a case like the first gen model. The Elipsa 2E is Kobo’s latest eNote, but it was released in April of 2023 so it’s a bit outdated compared to some newer eNotes with higher resolution screens and color E Ink screens.
Here’s the link to my Kobo Elipsa 2E review if you want to learn more about it and watch a video review of it in action.
And here’s the link to my Kobo Libra Colour review if you want to see Kobo’s 7″ color model in action. It supports stylus input like the larger 2E, but a stylus isn’t included and has to be purchased separately.
