Woot is doing another round of “refurbished” Kindle sales that will probably sell out quickly, like usual, but if you want a Kindle for really cheap now is the time to get one.
They have the 1st gen Kindle Scribe, the 11th gen Kindle from 2022, and the 11th gen Kindle Paperwhite from 2021. All are listed as refurbished, but the Paperwhite is labeled as “scratch and dent” so you can expect some wear on those, but the other models should be in like new condition.
All the Kindles are eligible for an additional 25% off the list price with coupon code KINDLE25. Limit one per customer. The deal expires on June 18 at 11:58pm CT.
One of the better deals is the previous gen Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition for $52.50 with the coupon. Or you can get the 8GB version for $37.50. These are the 11th gen models with a 6.8″ screen. They’re mostly the same as the current Paperwhite from a features standpoint, but some people like the frontlight better on the 11th gen because the cool light is less yellow. If “scratch and dent” isn’t your thing, Woot has the 11th gen Kindle for $52.50 with the coupon code. These are listed as Grade A refurbished so they should be in excellent condition. Lastly, the 1st gen Kindle Scribe can be had for as little as $149.99 with the coupon. That’s for the 16GB version. Or you can get the 32GB version for $164.99, or the 64GB version for $187.49. They also come with a premium stylus. Those prices are pretty crazy considering the current Kindle Scribe with a frontlight starts at $499.
If you’d rather get a brand new current gen Kindle, some early Prime Day sales are likely to start on Kindles this week.
