Kindle Oasis 1 On Sale for $179 (Sold Out)

Kindle Oasis

Sorry, it’s already sold out… If you liked the 1st gen Kindle Oasis but thought it was too expensive, today is your lucky day.

One of the main deals today at Woot takes $110 off the regular price of the Wi-Fi Kindle Oasis.

It’s in new condition, not refurbished like the usual Woot Kindle deals.

$179 is a really good deal for a new Kindle Oasis 1. It normally sells for $289.

It includes the leather charging cover, which is available in black with this deal.

The 1st gen Kindle Oasis has a 6-inch 300 ppi E Ink screen with a flush glass front. It has physical page buttons, 4GB of storage space, and it supports audiobooks over Bluetooth thanks to a recent software update.

The newer Oasis has a 7-inch screen and it adds waterproofing, but the 1st gen has the advantage of being smaller and lighter, and battery life is longer with the added charging cover.

This is a 1-day only sale or until they sell out.

  1. They sold out quick!

    • That was ridiculously quick! It wasn’t even worth the time to post about it. The maximum order was 10 so some people probably bought a bunch of them to sell on eBay and elsewhere for like $250. The stats show 9% of people bought more than 3. They should have had a lower maximum to keep the vultures away. What a rip.

  2. The minimum order was 10?

  3. What do you think it means? In terms of a new Kindle being on the way? Thank you!

  4. Yeh, these guys have 4 GB hard drives, though–it is essentially a Paperwhite in a swankier outfit. That’s what Kindles had in 2011. I *am* interested in the 32 GB 9th generation one, though, once its inflated release-price subsides into a rational zone.
