Every month Amazon Prime members get to choose a free Kindle ebook from a list of new exclusive books at Amazon, although most Prime members probably don’t know that’s one of the perks of having a Prime membership.
This month Prime members get to choose two free ebooks from Amazon’s First Reads lineup for January.
This month there are eight books to choose from across various genres; there’s even a children’s picture book among the selections.
If you are an Amazon Prime member you have until the end of January to choose your two free Kindle ebooks.
Once you get them they are yours to keep, even if you cancel your Prime membership at a later date, unlike some of Amazon’s other Prime ebook offers, such as Prime Reading.
These “First Reads” books don’t get released until next month for non-Prime members. If you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription you’ll be able to read them next month through KU.
There are a number of advantages to having a Prime membership and some are easy to forget about, so don’t forget to claim your two free ebooks this month from Amazon First Reads.

Is this just the us or international?
Nathan says
The same offer is on Amazon UK but I don’t know about other regional Amazon sites.

What are Amazon First Read books? Are they generally released to the public otherwise?
Nathan says
They are released a month after being on First Reads. If you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription you can read them for free.
