I know some people are disappointed that Amazon has discontinued the Kindle Oasis and is no longer selling it on the main Amazon website, but you can still get an “Amazon refurbished” Kindle Oasis for cheap from Woot.
Woot has some older Kindles available again, including all three versions of the Kindle Oasis. They also have the previous entry-level Kindle for $29.99, and an even older model for $27.99.
The sale is listed as ending in two days, but Woot has these kind of deals off and on all the time, and half the time they don’t even last for more than a few hours before they sell out because they don’t have very many in stock to begin with.
However, the 2nd and 3rd generation Oasis has both been available from Woot a lot lately, and if you really like the Oasis and want to get one before they become harder to find, these refurbished deals at Woot are usually the best way to get a good deal.
They’re generally cheaper than buying refurbished Kindles directly from Amazon. The only downside is they tend to come with a 1-year warranty when purchased from Amazon, and only a 90-day warranty when purchased from Woot, but if the battery is good after 90 days then it’ll probably be fine for the rest of the year anyway.
Here’s the list of current deals, but they’ll probably sell out of the cheapest ones soon since they don’t usually have very many.
Kindle Deals at Woot
Kindle Oasis 3 – $119.99 for the 8GB model, $149.99 for 32GB
Kindle Oasis 2 – $99.99 for 32GB (the Oasis 2 is the same as the Oasis 3, except it lacks the warm frontlight)
Kindle Oasis 1 – $49.99, no charging cover included
Kindle – $29.99 (2019, 10th gen)
Kindle – $27.99 (2016, 8th gen)
Keep this page bookmarked to find future Kindle deals at Woot (they don’t have a dedicated Kindle section so they get lumped in with tablets).

Will you be reviewing the Boox Palma – or, have you already? Besides the e-reader aspect, I’m wondering what other features are useful. I don’t think the palma is much larger than my Pixel, albeit the pixel is in color. I keep holding back because it needs to be more useful than simply an eReader. Things like taking notes, adding web pages to home screen, etc.

I got burned out on reviewing Boox products because it’s just the same thing over and over again with minor differences, and they keep replacing everything after 6-12 months so the lifespan of reviews is just too short, but I should’ve reviewed the Palma and regret not doing so. It’s been out for almost 6 months so it wouldn’t make sense to review it now, but I’ll review whatever newer version they’ll most likely release at some point later this year.
