I noticed that Amazon is offering 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for free once again, at least for some accounts, so you might want to check the main Kindle Unlimited landing page at Amazon to see if your account is eligible for the offer as well.
The page says it’s a “Prime Day Special Offer”, but we’re a solid two months away from Prime Day so that seems kind of weird. They usually do these type of offers for Prime Day, and they do tend to start them early, but I’ve never seen them start doing them this early before.
I also don’t have a Prime membership so apparently that isn’t a requirement to get the deal. I think you usually need a Prime membership for these Prime Day Kindle Unlimited deals, so maybe it’s an error and it won’t stay up for long, but it’s working now so who knows.
Last month there was a 2 months for $0.99 deal, but this is clearly the better offer if you didn’t get that one. It’s nice to see Amazon has started doing these KU deals again.
These extended trial deals on Kindle Unlimited are for new and some returning subscribers only; they aren’t available if you already have an active Kindle Unlimited subscription. Sometimes you can redeem these deals right after your membership ends, but for some accounts it might take a few months or more before you can take advantage of a deal like this again.
Keep in mind that Amazon will automatically start charging your account the regular price of $11.99 per month for Kindle Unlimited after the free three months ends. But you can cancel Kindle Unlimited from the Manage Your Kindle Unlimited Membership page on your Amazon account at anytime, even immediately after redeeming the free 3 months offer.
