Kindle Paperwhite on Sale for $89, New Kindle $69

May 5, 2019 by Nathan

Kindle Paperwhite Sale

Amazon has put both the new Kindle for 2019 and the Kindle Paperwhite on sale for Mother’s Day.

The Kindle Paperwhite is marked down to $89. That’s $40 off the regular price and it ties the lowest price ever for this new 4th generation Paperwhite model.

The new entry-level Kindle is marked down to $69. That’s $20 off the regular price.

It’s interesting how Amazon is discounting the Paperwhite by twice as much; too bad the new Kindle isn’t $40 off.

For only $20 more the Kindle Paperwhite is by far the better value.

The Paperwhite adds a higher resolution 300 ppi E Ink screen and twice as much storage space with 8GB (there’s a 32GB model as well, starting at $119). The Paperwhite is also waterproof, and battery life is longer. See this Kindle vs Kindle Paperwhite comparison review for a closer look at the differences between the two.

2019 Kindle review

Once again the Kindle Oasis is left out of the Kindle deals. I wonder why Amazon never puts it on sale?

Seriously, what is the deal with the $250+ Oasis price! To get a deal I almost traded in my Kindle & use the 10% moved homes discount.
