Kobo’s new ereaders don’t technically get released until April 30th, but they’ve already started turning up for sale online at Amazon and Walmart. The Amazon listings are shipping now and the Walmart listings say they’ll arrive on May 1st.
In both cases, they are being sold by BlueProton, Kobo’s official retail partner in the US so they are a trusted vendor and they’ve been selling Kobo’s devices for several years now.
So far they only have bundle packages listed so you have to buy a case and in some instances accessories with each new Kobo, but I’m sure they’ve have the base devices listed soon as well.
The covers can also be ordered separately if you already pre-ordered a device from Kobo. There are a couple different case designs, and all three new models have a clear case as an option now too.

Yeah, it looks like BlueProton jumped the gun but the pages will be back up soon.
Amazon seems to have pulled the pages.
I was lucky enough to get an order in for the Walmart listing. Order still states it’ll arrive by May 1 but we’ll see.
Everything just showed up on amazon again at a significant markup from MSRP.
