Amazon has the latest Kindle Scribe on sale as part of their tech deals for Fathers’ Day, and the sale price sets a new low price for the Kindle Scribe 2 at $299.
That’s significantly less than what similar 10″ eNotes sell for, and the Scribe has better reading features than most. The first Kindle Scribe went on sale for lower than that several times, but this is a new low price for the Kindle Scribe 2, and all versions are $100 off.
It’s also possible to get the price down even lower. Amazon will take an extra $40 off when purchasing two Kindle Scribes. Plus you can get an additional 20% off with a trade-in, which stacks with sale prices so you could actually get a 16GB Kindle Scribe for as low as $240 new (or even less when buying two).
The Kindle Scribe 2 is essentially the same as the first Kindle Scribe. They just changed the bezel color to white and changed the screen texture slightly and redesigned the stylus pen. It’s still considered a 1st gen Kindle Scribe, and the software features are the same between the two versions, but they’ve added a lot of new features since the beginning.
Amazon added some new notetaking features to the Kindle Scribe awhile back that lets you add notes to the margins within ebooks by opening a side panel that slides out. You can also write directly in the pages of ebooks now and have the text wrap around your notes. There are AI tools now as well that can summarize your notes and refine your handwritten notes to a script font for improved readability.
Unfortunately none of the bundles or cases appear to be on sale this time, but all three storage capacities for the Kindle Scribe are $100 off.
