Nah, they don’t care about some little ole niche blog and I’m too recalcitrant to make any effort to deal with PR and marketing types. Plus I can’t understand why anyone would want to fly across the country just to attend a 1 hour product unveiling. Then if they were to release another set of refreshed 6-inch Kindles my head would probably explode. They’d much prefer to have a bunch of easily-impressed yes-men to attend those kind of things rather than experts willing to ask tough questions and point out shortcomings.

Yeah, true, I guess they’d only invited the big budget, big media reps. And there is something about that cozy relationship that waters down editorial integrity.
