The current entry-level Kindle that Amazon sells for $89 is now on sale at Woot for the next three days or until sold out.
The 10th gen Kindle is marked down to $34.99 with free shipping for Amazon Prime members (otherwise shipping is $6). It’s labeled as refurbished so it’s not new, but this is as low as this Kindle has sold for up to this point.
Amazon just had the same Kindle on sale last week for $49.99 new, and they’ll probably have it on sale again soon, but if you want to save some cash on a refurbished Kindle $35 is hard to beat.
This is the Kindle that Amazon released in 2019. It has a frontlight and 8GB of storage, but it lacks the warm frontlight the new Paperwhite comes with, and it has a lower resolution 167 ppi E Ink screen.
It doesn’t have Dark Mode either but most of the other software features are the same as the more expensive Kindles.
