Kobo is running a This or That Contest from now until May 12th where you can enter to win a Kobo Libra Colour bundle worth $340, a Kobo Remote that’s worth $30, or a $75 Kobo eGift card.
To enter the contest, you just have to take a short quiz to “discover your reader persona”, as Kobo puts it. Kobo did a similar contest last fall, but that time they were giving away $300 gift cards and Libra Colour bundles.
According to the terms, the contest is limited to residents in Canada, the UK and the US. You can find the full list of terms and conditions for the contest at the bottom of the main contest page on Kobo’s website.
A Kobo account is required to participate in the contest, but it doesn’t cost anything to create an account if you don’t already have one. Kobo VIP members get 5 bonus entries when completing the quiz, and they seem to have a legal requirement to give non-VIP members 5 bonus entries as well if you send them an email (see the terms for more information).
In total, Kobo is giving away 44 prizes to contest winners. The Grand Prize consists of a Kobo Libra Colour, a Kobo Stylus 2 and Kobo Libra Colour Stylus Case. They’re giving away 4 of those bundles. And they’re also giving away 20 Kobo Remotes and 20 Kobo eGift Cards worth $75.
Kobo’s gift cards can be used to buy ebooks and audiobooks sold by Kobo, but they can’t be used to purchase Kobo ereaders or accessories.
