An email from Kobo turned up in my spam folder a couple of hours ago proclaiming the delay of the Kobo Vox. The Vox was supposed to start shipping on October 28th, but now it won’t be going out until November 7th. That’s interesting because they’ve already started selling them in a number of stores […]
The Best eBook Readers for Less Than $100
Here’s a list of the best ebook readers that can be had for under $100. A couple of these are refurbished units where noted, but most of them are brand new. This list consists of dedicated ebook readers only, no tablets. I’ll put together a separate post for low-cost tablets in the near future.
Nook Color 2 Incoming? B&N Doubling Size of Nook Boutiques
Barnes and Noble is starting to send out hints that they are getting set to release a new Nook, and since they already released a new E Ink device the year, the Nook Touch, that means the time is drawing near to upgrade the Nook Color. The Wall Street Journal posted an article and video […]

Have you heard? Amazon now accepts Kindle trade-ins in exchange for gift cards for Amazon.com. They’ve been doing this for awhile for other products, including tablets and other ereader brands, so it’s about time they added Kindles to the trade-in program too. What’s truly odd is that some of the Special Offers Kindles are valued […]
