Kobo has started a new promotion on their website today where you can get a 1-year VIP membership for free with the purchase of select Kobo ereaders.
The offer is only valid when purchasing a Kobo ereader from Kobo’s website, and the deal runs from now until June 9th. Both new and existing Kobo customers are eligible for the offer.
Kobo VIP members can get 10% off select ebooks and audiobooks, along with exclusive savings on select promos, and VIP members earn twice as many Kobo Super Points with each purchase.
Kobo VIP members also get one free ebook each year, and there are other occasional benefits as well.
Membership only costs $10 per year so it’s not like this is the greatest deal, but it’s something different than a typical sale.
The offer applies when purchasing a Kobo Libra 2, a Kobo Sage, or a Kobo Elipsa Pack from Kobo’s website. They’ll email a promo code that can be used to redeem a 1-year VIP membership.

It seems that finally one can order an Elipsa Pack on Amazon Mexico for about $9,706.44. There is also a nice looking 3rd party case for it too as a reasonable price. A little late for me since I got my Likebook P10. Just have to wait to see if Amazon comes up with something of their own.
