The Nook GlowLight Plus Gets No Respect, Not Even From B&N
There’s no denying the fact the popularity of Nook ereaders has been on the decline for several years now. It’s gotten to the point where Barnes and Noble barely even bothers acknowledging the existence of their last remaining E Ink Nook anymore. I find it interesting that B&N has removed the Nook GlowLight Plus from […]
Has the Kobo Touch 2.0 Been Discontinued?
Kobo’s entry-level ebook reader, the Kobo Touch 2.0, has been out of stock for at least the past two months now (probably longer) from Kobo’s website. It’s no longer available from Chapters.Indigo either, one of Kobo’s retailers in Canada. In fact the page for the Kobo Touch 2.0 has been removed entirely and just directs […]

For the past few months it’s been available off and on with “limited stock” each […]

Arta Tech recently released two new Android-based ebook readers, the InkBook Prime and the InkBook Classic 2, and they sent them over for me to review. Both have 6-inch E Ink screens and the two models are somewhat similar to the entry-level Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite, especially in terms of price. The InkBook Classic […]
Have Software Updates Ever Broken Your eReader or Tablet?
Occasionally I hear people complaining about software updates killing their ebook reader and making it completely unresponsive. It can happen to just about any brand. I’ve heard of Kindles and Kobos not making it through a software update, and some Android-based ereaders too. You don’t hear much about the Nook having problems with that but […]
