Amazon currently has the Kindle Oasis 2 on sale starting at $179 for certified refurbished units.
It’s their latest Kindle model and it’s the only one that’s waterproof. It’s also the only Kindle model to feature a 7-inch E Ink screen.
The 8GB Kindle Oasis 2 is $179 and the 32GB Kindle Oasis 2 is $209. The 32GB version with free cellular is $249, which is $100 less than the price of a new one.
They were previously selling the 8GB version for $209 refurbished despite the fact that they’re now showing a list price of $199.
The regular price for a new Kindle Oasis 2 is $249 for 8GB and $279 for 32GB, so being able to get $70 off is pretty significant.
$179 is the cheapest the Kindle Oasis 2 has sold for, and it’s kind of surprising they have it priced that low already considering it was just released 8 months ago.
It’s also surprising that Amazon stopped selling their own officail covers for it and never brought them back. They still recommend the CaseBot covers in the add-on section but I like the original cover better.
