It looks like Amazon is starting up with the Kindle Daily Deals again. This morning they tweeted about offering The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo for $1.39. This is a one day only sale; the price will back up to $5.59 tomorrow.
The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a very highly rated book. It has a rating of 4.5 stars over 332 reviews, so it must be good. In fact, it won the 2006 Boston Globe-Horn Book Award in Fiction.

The email notes that there are 100s of ebooks priced at $1 or less on Kobo.com, and that the $1 off coupon is the most popular discount for customers to get those ebooks for free.

Kobo’s marketing department is good at keeping things interesting. For the next week, from March 5th to March 12th, Kobo
is running a promotion where you can get coupons based on how much you spend on your next purchase of ebooks.
If you already seen this deal a couple of days ago, check the details again because Kobo must’ve been required to change it. Before they offered $$$ back in the form of eGift cards, which could be used on Agency ebooks. Publishers must’ve complained. No one is allowed to offer discounts on precious Agency ebooks in any shape or form. God forbid ebookstores compete for your purchases.
