I noticed this morning that Barnes and Noble is selling the Nook Color for $179 from their eBay store. They usually sell refurbished units on eBay but this is a brand new Nook Color. The refurbished Nooks are selling for $149. Since it is new, you’d think they would offer the same sale price at […]
Now is a good time for a Nook Tablet vs Nook Color comparison review since Barnes and Noble issued a firmware update for the Nook Color to add some new features earlier in the week. Even before the new firmware it was pretty hard to tell the Nook Tablet and Nook Color apart, and now […]
Barnes and Noble released the much-anticipated new firmware for the Nook Color today, version 1.4.1. According to Barnes and Noble, the update adds over 100 enhancements. The most prominent change is the addition of Netflix for streaming movies and tv shows.

About two weeks ago, shortly after the new $79 Kindle 4 launched, Barnes and Noble dropped the price of certified pre-owned Nook Touches from $112 to $99. Apparently they weren’t selling fast enough because now B&N has the pre-owned Nook Touch marked down to $79. Not only that but Barnes and Noble shaved $30 off […]
The Lenovo IdeaPad A1 just went up for pre-order a couple days ago starting at $199 from Lenovo’s website. Given the price and specs, the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 just might be a better tablet to go with than the Kindle Fire, and it is a better tablet than the Nook Color, at least on paper.
